Imbolc – KS2 Session Plan

An Imbolc session plan for KS2, designed to support seasonal awareness, outdoor learning and thoughtful observation of the natural world. The session links closely to the science curriculum through work on seasonal change, habitats and living things, while also supporting speaking and listening through discussion and reflection. Structured outdoor activities encourage pupils to notice subtle changes as winter begins to loosen its hold, building early understanding of seasonal cycles through direct experience.
