Responding to the Curriculum and Assessment Review
We have put together a short briefing in response to the Curriculum and Assessment Review, focusing on what its key messages mean in practice for primary schools. While much of the discussion around the Review has centred on assessment and structure, it also makes important statements about how children learn best, particularly in Key Stages 1 and 2.
This briefing draws out practical opportunities for outdoor learning practice, with a focus on inclusion, engagement, and depth of learning. It is intended as guidance for schools and other settings, and is written to be clear, concise, and easy to share internally.
